In response to the sense of stagnation and anxiety in today’s world, Japan has come to a standstill and has made little progress in the last 20 years. It is as if it is trying to protect itself from the sudden changes in the world. During that time the population of elderly has increased and the birthrate has decreased dramatically. Accordingly, concern has risen in regard to the shrinking market, decline in the workforce, and whether the current level of living can even continue to be maintained in the future.

A country that lacks young people also lacks the vitality to meet new challenges and the chance to compete. Under these conditions, Japan’s economic power remains largely unchanged. And in terms of human resources, it can essentially be said to have never gotten out of its isolationist Sakoku period. However, I believe the time will soon come when Japan will have little choice than to open its doors, which applies to immigration as well. “A society with a low youth demographic will be dangerously lacking in innovation, and fall behind other societies in technology, affluence, and even in knowledge and the arts,” cautioned a Great Britain Royal Commission 60 years ago. And this is precisely the reality Japan faces today. Even if Japan did open its doors, few would aim to work in a country that lacks vitality such as Japan. The idea that by opening its doors people will come to Japan as it is now is nothing more than a pipe dream.

LIKEART RESOURCES is beginning activities under the keywords of “people and employment” and “people and company”, leveraging our unique networks and relationship building capabilities for executives in Japan and abroad to the maximum extent possible. And by promoting the matching of companies and individuals that are suited for both the present circumstances and the future, we can break free of the present stagnant conditions and create a society as well as organizations for the next generation. Furthermore, by synergizing with marketing and promotion company LIKEART Inc., we are striving to contribute to society by fostering insight to see ahead of the times via continued research from a marketing perspective and a constant accumulation of know-how.

The high capabilities found in ordinary people, that is where the power of Japan lies. To further cultivate the inner potential of the most talented individuals – that is what is needed today. While the government tends focus on the social welfare of the elderly, LIKEART RESOURCES wants to put the spotlight on the vital workforce in order to create a vital future for Japan, in which a wide range of people work together.

Under the keywords of diversity and sensibility value, we work to develop “sensibility” by providing the infinite resource of “sensibility” that Japan holds.
